ANOTHER DROP OF FLANDERS AND SWANN

YET MORE DELIGHTS FROM THEIR SONGBOOK!

Following two sell-out performances last Spring, Bob and Mike return with more delights from the Flanders and Swann songbook. Since last appearing at the Kirkgate they’ve travelled the length of Cumbria, from Burgh by Sands down to Millom, gradually adding to their repertoire. So for this show, yes, some old favourites will be there (the Hippo will be dropping in, of course) but also lots of less familiar, but equally brilliant stuff: Design for Living, In the Bath, plus a whole menagerie of wild, and not so wild beasts, not forgetting The 1st and 2nd law of thermodynamics.

In January 1996 Bob suffered a near-fatal heart attack, so this concert celebrates “30 years on borrowed time” and the skill of the medical staff at Whitehaven hospital who saved him. All proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation.
