A series of loosely connected vignettes and flashbacks explores the life of a filmmaker named Nic (Julian Sands) from his life at age 5, 12 and 16, and as a man embarking on his first film in 1950s Tunisia, and finally to his current age. Along the way, well let’s just say that he has a few encounters as the title might suggest.
