VOLUNTEER
As a charity with limited resources Kirkgate is able to run a programme of events thanks to volunteers. There are many volunteer posts available including Duty Manager, Building Supervisor, Projectionist, Front of House, Bar, Band Champion, Box Office, Film Programming, Marketing, Promotion and Sound Engineer.
We would also welcome additional help with Kirkgate’s Cockermouth Heritage Group. We are looking for volunteers to help us gather information, catalogue our collections, organise our outreach events and curate our exhibitions.
There are also numerous other supportive roles for events such as washing up, technical support, administrative assistance, poster distribution, building maintenance, film digital asset production.
