Kirkgate Arts and Heritage had a lot of fun teaming up with Little Twiglets Forest School and Riversmeet woodland in August 2022 to deliver 2 creative workshops for little people under 5 years. These workshops focussed on Arts and Crafts on 3rd August and Creative Writing on 17th August.
Forest School leader Michelle Ferry led the children and parents through the Arts and Crafts workshop. The children explored the use of hammers and wildflowers to create beautiful natural transfers onto T-shirts which they were then able to keep.
The atmosphere was fun and playful, encouraging free play on the swings, hammocks, and in the mud kitchen. All hugely successful!
