Stephanie Bradshaw is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian and actor from Cumbria. Her debut 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Show, Big Fish, inspired by her life so-far as a 30-something, attention-seeking (anxious, delicate, shy) mega diva, who’s lived almost her entire life in small rural towns, performed to sell out audiences. As seen and heard on Only Fans Creative Fund: Comedy Edition 2023, Brighton Fringe Festival 2019, Miraculous Cumbria Podcast, BBC Cumbria, BBC Radio 5 Live.
"Steph is a very warm and likeable comic with a fabulous line in cheery self-deprecation. You can't not enjoy her company on stage and she's a proper grafter – with lovely timing and material – who has a bright future." – Toby Hadoke, XS Malarkey Comedy Club
“Timing was great, the emotions were absolutely pitch perfect, she’s incredibly easy to listen to and above all, her performance has a very welcome, feel-good factor to it and this all felt extremely up-lifting. A lot of acts could learn from watching her” – Notts Comedy Review
Audience Reviews Fringe 2024:
“Great hour from a fantastic performer, Steph has funny bones and her tales of trying to make it in a small town were relatable and hilarious. Thoroughly recommend”
“Loved Steph's show! Funny, relatable (not just because of Cumbria) and warm, this show is well paced and really well structured. It feels clever without ever feeling pretentious and gets the balance right between self-deprecating and a bit empowering – in a quirky kinda way.”
“Captivating, poignant and relatable wherever it is you come from. The show will leave you with a big smile on your face and craving more of her shenanigans in a sleepy little town in the Lake District.”
