What do we know about Cockermouth before the arrival or the Romans? This talk will explore recent archaeology investigations in Cockermouth and the surrounding area, to build a picture of who was living here and what their lives were like in the thousands of years before the Roman invasion.
Helen Johnston is the Community Projects Officer at Kirkgate Arts and Heritage and an archaeologist who’s worked on sites on all periods across England.
