Time to celebrate with Andrea Bocelli!

Music lovers in Cockermouth will get the opportunity to help world-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli celebrate his 30-year career later this month. Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration (PG) is a musical extravaganza filmed over three days in a breathtaking natural amphitheatre, the Teatro del Silenzio (Theatre of Silence), in the singer’s hometown of Lajatico, Tuscany.

The film captures Andrea in concert and in captivating duets with an unprecedented cast of global superstars, including Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Will Smith, Jon Batiste, Sofia Carson, Lang Lang, Nadine Sierra and more.

With extraordinary staging, production, and visuals, set against a landscape of unparalleled beauty amongst the Tuscan hills, Andrea Bocelli’s sensational career comes to life in a truly unforgettable experience.

The film will be showing at Cockermouth’s Kirkgate Centre on Sunday, November 17 (3pm) and Tuesday, November 19 (2pm).

Directed by Grammy-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Sam Wrench (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Billie Eilish: Live at the O2), this is a celebration of an international icon and revered classical voice, with a grandeur and scale that reaches new heights.
