Join me for a lovely afternoon learning about this activity which has been practised for hundreds of years, but which still has relevance today, being a gentle, mindful and inexpensive hobby with low environmental impact.

I will demonstrate the techniques for successfully pressing flowers and how to use these to make beautiful items such as bookmarks and pictures. You will be able to produce your own pieces to take home using a range of existing pressed flowers.

All equipment and materials will be supplied though you may wish to bring along an old book suitable pressing flowers between the leaves.

Refreshments provided.
