Harps North West is a charity based in Cumbria with a world wide membership, whose aim is to promote playing and appreciation of the harp. We are delighted to present a harmony of harps with professional musicians Wendy Stewart and Susan Lambert supported by members of the Harps North West Performance Group.

Susan studied music at Durham University and is also a pianist and saxophonist. Her introduction to the harp ten years ago was through a HNW beginners workshop. She has not looked back since travelling the country performing in follies, forests, festivals and fancy houses!

Wendy Stewart is a leading Scottish harper, a world class performer and inspirational teacher whose style and repertoire encompasses both traditional music and her own compositions. She has played harp for nearly 60 years, toured the world, produced 4 solo recordings, several music books and teaches all level of student, from beginner to graduate. From her home in rural Galloway, Wendy continues to explore musical connections with the natural world, the spoken word, dance and science. She also plays a mean concertina!

For one performance only these two multi instrumentalists are teaming up to bring you a gorgeous set of varied music with harps at the centre.
