Born and raised in Oxford, Eddie Gripper moved to Cardiff in 2018 to study under the tutelage of Huw Warren before graduating from Cardiff University. Having “already garnered comparisons with the greats” (Jazzwise) after the release of his debut album ‘Home’, pianist Eddie Gripper has rapidly established himself as a young contender on the national jazz circuit.

In 2026, he released his sophomore trio album entitled ‘Americana‘ which tells the story of am 8,000KM road trip across the USA.
