Brought together by a return to their northern homelands of Cumbria and Northumberland, this is a group that thrives on the wellspring of inspiration flowing from the countryside and heritage around them. Powerful melodies derived from folk and Celtic themes metamorphose with jazz harmony and rhythm in a fusion of genres that is full of excitement, optimism and heartfelt connectivity. The group move between lyrical storytelling and fearless improvisation, delivering a rare balance of precision and soul striving to reach and inspire new audiences.
