The New Bookshop Presents : A conversation with M W Craven
For the launch of next darkly-funny thrill-ride of a book in the bestselling Washington Poe series, ‘The Killer’s Mark’ (published on 13th August).
M W Craven was born in Carlisle and grew up in Newcastle. He has worked and travelled in the army and also had a career in West Cumbria as a probation officer.
In 2017 Mike signed a two-book deal with publishers Little Brown, for a new series starring Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw. These characters have become much loved by Mike’s readers. First in the new series was The Puppet Show. Published in June 2018 it won the prestigious Crime Writers’ Association Gold Dagger in 2019 and has now been translated into 26 languages.
M W Craven is now multi-award winning and is read globally. Having repeatedly sold out his events The New Bookshop have moved this event to the Kirkgate to free up more tickets avoid his local readers disappointment.
Mike will be chatting on stage, taking audience questions and signing books.
His books will be available to buy at the event (£22 hardback), or you can buy a ticket to the event with a copy of the book included in the price below.
