Steely Don – Celebrating the Music of Steely Dan & Donald Fagen

Steely Don celebrate the music of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen, bringing together a full live band and horn section to perform some of the most distinctive and sophisticated music of the past five decades.

Drawing on Steely Dan's unique blend of rock, jazz, funk, R&B, blues and Latin influences, the band recreate the songs and arrangements with the musicianship and attention to detail this remarkable music deserves.

The set spans the Steely Dan catalogue and Donald Fagen's solo work, from Reelin' In The Years, Do It Again, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Peg, Josie, Kid Charlemagne and FM to album tracks and less familiar favourites for the committed Steely Dan fan.

At the heart of all this, is a group of exceptional musicians who genuinely love this music and love playing it.

"The closest thing to the real deal. Amazing musicians, song choice superb."

"It’s like listening to the albums live. I’ve seen a lot of tribute bands, but Steely Don is certainly one of the very best."

"What a great band. Lots of talent and a great sound. We have seen the real thing a few times. Having also seen a few other tribute bands, you are the best."

"Fantastic evening – what an accomplished band. Really did the Dan catalogue proud."

"Wow!! Absolutely blown away by how good you guys are! Not the easiest band to cover but you absolutely smash it………………."

"What a brilliant evening! Thank you all so much for transporting me back to my teenage years grooving to the music of Steeley Dan"

"We turned up really not knowing what to expect but were bowled over by the band's performance."
